Top-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve – equipment used in the steel industry, aluminum industry, fiber, tiny solid particles, pulp, ash, petroleum gas and other media.

The top-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve uses an eccentric valve body, an eccentric ball and a valve seat. When the valve stem rotates, it automatically centers on the same trajectory. During the closing process, it closes tighter and tighter, completely achieving good sealing purposes. The ball and seat of the valve are completely separated, eliminating the wear of the sealing ring and overcoming the problem of constant wear of the traditional ball seat and ball sealing surface. The non-metallic elastic material is embedded in the metal seat, and the metal surface of the valve seat is well protected. This product is especially suitable for steel industry, aluminum industry, fiber, tiny solid particles, pulp, coal ash, petroleum gas and other media.

Product features of top-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve:

1. Its structure adopts the eccentric tightening principle to achieve the purpose of gate tightening, adjustment and closing through the transmission mechanism. The sealing pair is a metal surface ring with a hard surface contact seal. When the double eccentric structure is opened, the valve core is located in the ball chamber, and the flow cross-section is large. , and the valve will not be washed, the valve core will not be washed when closed, and the spherical surface of the valve core will gradually move along the valve seat when opened, effectively removing scaling obstacles and achieving reliable sealing. It is particularly effective for mixed flow transportation of two-phase mixed flow where solids that are prone to scaling are precipitated.

2. The hemisphere of the valve is made of bimetal, and different alloys are overlayed on the base metal. The valve seat is also overlayed accordingly and undergoes special treatment. The sealing surface is combined into various types such as anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, and high-strength to meet the needs of different occasions.

3. It is tightly sealed and can transport harmful gases with zero leakage.

4. There is a compensation amount left in the valve core of the sealing pair. When the valve is worn, rotate it a little when closing to ensure reliable sealing and extend the service life. In addition, the user can unscrew the compression nut and the valve seat can still be used after adjustment or replacement, thus avoiding the disadvantage of scrapping the entire unit after the valve seal fails.

5. The structure of the top-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve has a cover on it, which can be repaired on the pipeline, which is convenient and labor-saving.

Installation and maintenance of eccentric ball valve:

1. Before installation, re-confirm that the valve identification (such as model, nominal diameter, nominal pressure, material) is based on the requirements of the pipeline system. Check the cleanliness of the inner cavity of the valve and confirm that the components are complete and free of foreign matter before installation.

2. The ball valve driving device is divided into manual and electric modes, which can be equipped according to the user’s needs. The valve should be opened and closed twice before installation. When the valve leaks after being used for a period of time, the limit fastening bolts of the manual and electric drive devices can be adjusted. Due to the eccentric structure, the amount of wear can be compensated.

3. Adjustment of the eccentric shaft and valve seat seal of the ball valve must be performed by experienced personnel. (When the valve seal is in poor condition)

4. If the ball valve is not installed and used temporarily, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. It is strictly prohibited to be bumped or subjected to external force. The valve needs to be opened 5° to avoid long-term pressure on the sealing ring, which reduces its elasticity and affects its service life.

5. The first water test of a newly installed valve may cause slight leakage due to transportation or other reasons. You can open and close the valve at 5° to 10° two or three times, and the valve will automatically adjust to the correct position.

6. The limit fastening bolts of the ball valve driving device have been debugged before leaving the factory and are not allowed to loosen. If leakage occurs after the valve has been used for a long period of time, loosen the fastening bolt of the driving device at the limit position, rotate it one turn counterclockwise and tighten the nut, and then close the valve more tightly. Due to the eccentricity, the wear gap can be eliminated to ensure If the valve continues to be used, do not forcibly close the valve without loosening the tightening bolts of the driving device limit position, otherwise the driving device will be damaged.

7. The eccentric semi-ball valve is a one-way sealing valve. The arrow on the valve body is the sealing direction of the valve, not the flow direction of the medium. When installed as a stop valve, the arrow is in the same direction as the flow of the medium (that is, forward installation) and is used as a check. When the valve is used, the arrow is opposite to the flow direction of the medium (reverse installation).
