The sealing ring refers to an annular cover composed of one or several parts. It is fixed on one ring or washer of the bearing and contacts another ring or washer or forms a narrow labyrinth gap to prevent lubricating oil from leaking out and foreign objects from intruding. Because its cross-section is O-shaped, it is called an O-shaped sealing ring.
Suitable for use in petroleum-based hydraulic oil, glycol-based hydraulic oil, diester-based lubricating oil, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil and other media. It is currently the most widely used and lowest cost rubber seal. Not suitable for use in polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitrohydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform. The general operating temperature range is -40~120 ℃.
It has excellent corrosion resistance, tear resistance and compression deformation resistance, and has good ozone, sunlight and weather resistance. Better wear resistance than nitrile rubber. Suitable for washing machinery and automobile engine systems. Not recommended for use in alcohols, esters or aromatic solutions. The general operating temperature range is -40~150 ℃.
It has excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance and atmospheric aging resistance. Has very good insulation properties. However, its tensile strength is worse than that of ordinary rubber and it is not oil-resistant. Suitable for household appliances such as electric water heaters, electric irons, microwave ovens, etc.
It is also suitable for various items that come into contact with the human body, such as kettles, drinking fountains, etc. Not recommended for use in most concentrated solvents, oils, concentrated acids and sodium hydroxide. The general operating temperature range is -55~250 ℃.
Its high temperature resistance is better than silicone rubber, and it has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance and chemical resistance, but its cold resistance is poor. It is resistant to most oils and solvents, especially acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, and animal and vegetable oils. Suitable for sealing needs of diesel engines, fuel systems and chemical plants. Not recommended for use with ketones, low molecular weight esters and nitrate-containing mixtures. The general operating temperature range is -20~250 ℃.
Its performance combines the advantages of fluorine rubber and silicone rubber, and has excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance, fuel oil resistance and high and low temperature resistance. Can resist the erosion of oxygen-containing compounds, aromatic hydrocarbon-containing solvents and chlorine-containing solvents. The general operating temperature range is -50~200 ℃.
It has good weather resistance, ozone resistance, water resistance and chemical resistance. It can be used for alcohols and ketones, and can also be used for sealing in high-temperature water vapor environments. The general operating temperature range is -55~150 ℃.
It is particularly resistant to sunlight and weather. It is not afraid of refrigerants such as dichlorodifluoromethane and ammonia, and is resistant to dilute acids and silicone grease lubricants. However, it expands greatly in mineral oils with low aniline points. It is easy to crystallize and harden at low temperatures. It is suitable for various environments exposed to the atmosphere, sunlight, and ozone and for various flame-resistant and chemical corrosion-resistant sealing links. Not recommended for use with strong acids, nitrohydrocarbons, esters, chloroform and ketone chemicals. The general operating temperature range is -55~120 ℃.
It has particularly good air tightness, good heat resistance, sunlight resistance, ozone resistance, and good insulation performance; it has good resistance to polar solvents such as alcohols, ketones, esters, etc., and can be exposed to animal and vegetable oils or oxidizable materials. Suitable for chemical resistance or vacuum equipment. It is not recommended to use it with petroleum solvents, kerosene or aromatic hydrocarbons. The general operating temperature range is -50~110 ℃.
It has excellent resistance to oil, good high temperature resistance and weather resistance, but has slightly poor mechanical strength, compression deformation rate and water resistance. Generally used in automobile transmission systems and power steering systems. Not suitable for use in hot water, brake fluid, or phosphate esters. The general operating temperature range is -25~170 ℃.
Rubber products have good wear resistance, elasticity, tear strength and elongation. However, it is easy to age in the air, becomes sticky when exposed to heat, easily expands and dissolves in mineral oil or gasoline, and is resistant to alkali but not strong acid. Suitable for use in liquids containing hydroxyl ions such as automobile brake oil and ethanol. The general operating temperature range is -20~100 ℃.
The mechanical properties of polyurethane rubber are very good, and its wear resistance and high pressure resistance are far superior to other rubbers. Aging resistance, ozone resistance, and oil resistance are also quite good, but it is prone to hydrolysis at high temperatures. Generally used for high-pressure and wear-resistant sealing links. The general operating temperature range is -45~90 ℃.
