Installation and maintenance：
①Ensure that the ball valve installation position pipeline is in the coaxial position, the two flanges on the pipeline should be kept parallel to confirm that the pipeline can bear the weight of the ball valve itself. If it is found that the pipeline can not bear the weight of the ball valve, the pipeline should be supported before installation.
②Confirm whether there are impurities, welding slag and so on in the pipeline, the pipeline must be swept clean.
③Any section of the 3. ball valve can be installed at the upstream end, and the handle ball valve can be installed at any position of the pipeline. If the ball valve with actuator (such as gearbox, electric-pneumatic actuator) is configured, it must be installed vertically, and the valve inlet and outlet are in a horizontal position.
④Ball valve flange and pipeline flange are fitted with gasket according to pipeline design requirements.
⑤Bolts on the flange should be tightened symmetrically, sequentially and evenly.
⑥Installation, start ball valve open and close several times, should be flexible, uniform force, ball valve work normally.
⑦Valve operation according to the actuator input signal size drive stem rotation completed: forward rotation 1/4(90°), the valve closed. During reverse rotation of 1/4 laps (90°), the valve opens.
⑧Ball valve to have valve handle rotation position
⑨Ball valve can not be used as throttling.
⑩Ball valves with transmission mechanisms shall be installed upright.
How to troubleshoot ball valve?
Common Troubleshooting of Ball Valve：
①Leakage of right valve body and left valve body. Repair the sealing surface, remove dirt, replace the gasket, and tighten the nut evenly and cross.
②Packing leakage. Tighten cover bolts or replace packing (1 upper packing ,2 middle packing ,1 lower packing). When installing, be careful not to cut the edge and tighten the cover bolt evenly.
③Stem is not flexible. Loose cover bolts, evenly loosen left and right connection nuts or thickened gaskets to reduce pretightening force, be careful not to leak.
④Sealing leakage. Uniform, cross tighten the left and right body connection nut, increase the pretightening force, or adjust the sealing seat, gasket and clean the sealing groove.
⑤When the ball valve is not screwed, do not put the auxiliary lever or other tools on the wrench, which will damage the stem. If the operation of Mandarin hard to analyze the reasons, some valve closure caused by thermal expansion of the opening difficulties, this time the gland bolt can be loosened, to clear the stem stress before opening, packing too tight, can properly relax the packing.
⑥Ball valves can only be fully open or closed, generally not allowed for adjustment and throttle. Ball valve with wrench, wrench parallel to the channel for full opening ,90° for full closure.
⑦Sealing leakage. Uniform, cross tighten the left and right body connection nut, increase the pretightening force, or replace the sealing seat, gasket and clean the sealing groove.
