Selection of piston flow regulating valve

To ensure no vibration, noise, cavitation, damage to the pipeline, linear flow control, or stable pressure reduction of the system to ensure that the regulator valve is the basic requirement of long life.

According to different working conditions, the company has designed more than four types of piston-type regulator valves with different types of outlets.

Therefore, the selection process of piston flow regulating valve is as follows:

Firstly, according to the system regulation parameters, determine the cavitation level and the piston valve's outlet form.

Then determine the valve size according to the selected outlet form of the piston valve series graph.

That is to say: under the premise of ensuring long-life stable operation, the structure of the piston regulator valve is selective, and the performance of the regulator index under the ideal working condition cannot be specified arbitrarily.

Different forms of regulators correspond to different cavitation levels and different overcurrent capacities.

For the determination of the system size, the more arbitrary given regulating pressure level or flow parameters may lead to the valve is not in the best working condition.
